    Yay! Wooooooo!
    Love me some Rick Perry!!!
    🙂

I really like how he goes after the left for doing nothing to fix the actual problems that lead to these atrocities in addition to defending our rights. Way to turn it around on them.

  • clockwindingdown

Only a minute or two of real substance affecting our entire nation, when he was on song Rick was very good. The rest was selling Texas, not that there is anything wrong with that…

  • sybilll

Oh no!!!!  The video skipped THE most badass introduction ever.  Here ya go:  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qKtFvCvmrFE

    • Aggiemom07

His intro video was bad a$$! No thug music intro for Perry! Great NRA Convention so glad I was there! Thanks Sybill for posting the intro.

  • BrianJones1

poljunke I do too!!!!!  He seems VERY genuine!

    • lyrical

BrianJones1 poljunke    Perry really is one of the good guys!  I don’t agree with him on a lot of things, but he sure has done an excellent job for us here in Texas.

      • patriot077

lyrical BrianJones1 poljunke I think he’s doing a great job, but I sure hope he doesn’t transplant that deadly disease carried by CA Dimocrats to your fair state.

    Awesome speech.

  • PNWShan

I’d move to Texas except for 2 things: 1) my husband wants to stay in his home state, and 2) I keep reading about the schools in Texas adopting horrible liberal curriculum! What are they poisoning their own waterhole?

    • Pyrran

PNWShan Don’t worry.  We’re working on exposing common core for the liberal back door scheme it is.

      • doofuschmartz

I think they’ve already gotten rid of Common Core, but they replaced it with something only a little less odious…can’t remember the name. I just thank God my kid was NEVER exposed. We homeschooled. I encourage everyone who is able to do so, to get your kid out of the SEWER of the public school system and either home school them, or put them in a private school or charter school. I really believe you just may save their lives, mental health, self-esteem, and future. Any one, or a combination of those things. JMO…

doofuschmartz You were wise. The other day I found a test from way back in middle school where the teacher took points off because I wrote that the republican party was against slavery. Creeping revisionism has been creeping into schools for a long time.

    • lyrical

PNWShan   Texas sure isn’t the only state that has this crap coming in the back door!  Folks are waking up and addressing the issue.

  • patriot077

poljunke I’m with ya on that poljunkie! Probably because I grew up with a bunch of guys like him. I always feel like I’m talking with an old neighbor over the fence so to speak.
He isn’t the perfect conservative politician but he is a lot closer to America’s roots than most. IMHO

    • lyrical

      patriot077 poljunke     Well said.

  • doofuschmartz

It’s too bad Rick Perry couldn’t have gotten the Republican nomination for President in 2012. He is an excellent conservative, with wonderful conservative principles. He got ripped to shreds for his immigration policies, but they are the exact same policies that both the left and right are touting now. As a Texan, I hope he doesn’t try to run for president again, especially if Ted Cruz runs. He’s an excellent Governor, but a lousy politician…he is appreciated here in Texas!
