WATCH: Sean Spicer fires back at Jon Karl after asking if he’s going to lie as press secretary

The new Press Secretary Sean Spicer was basically asked today by ABC News reporter Jon Karl if he was going to be an honest press secretary. Spicer initially replied very diplomatically, explaining that is indeed his intention even though sometimes they can disagree on facts.

Spicer also, at Karl’s request, walked back the information he gave on Saturday regarding the attendance at Trump’s Inaugural. Spicer said their initial numbers on people coming from the metro were obviously bad.

He did, however, stand by his claim that it was the most watched inaugural address, pushing a reluctant Karl to discuss the numbers.

Since they were discussing honesty and integrity, Spicer then went after Karl on the false report from the media on the MLK Jr. bust, asking where’s the apology to the president and to all those who read the false report and believed Trump was racially insensitive for removing the bust.
