State Department spokeswoman Heather Nauert tore into a reporter for asking a question that she found to be “snarky.”

Wow. If you didn’t hear the question, the reporter asked if they wanted to apologize for the Iraq War on the 15th anniversary of that military action. Now, there’s all sorts of reasons why it’s stupid to ask the Trump administration to apologize for what the Bush administration did. But it’s also ridiculous because as much as the Iraq War appeared to be a bad thing, we just don’t know what would have happened had we NOT gone in there and let the dictator stay.
BUT to ADD to all the absurdity, it’s been Trump who has been excoriating Bush for the Iraq War, so it should have been a slam dunk for her to slap around Bush, just as Trump had done. For some reason, Nuaert chose to defend the actions…
