Steve Deace was on MSNBC this morning suggesting that Trump should call the bluff of the anti-Trump crowd and release the delegates into voting their conscience.
He says Trump should do this because he can’t unify the party and will end up losing in November, and this will show he can’t win a majority:
Deace explains that Trump can’t win without the Republican base turning out for him in November and should he be 5 points down closer to the election, many who were going to vote for him because they hate Hillary will simply not waste a vote on him because they know he’s going to lose anyway. And that’s how Trump will lose to Hillary.
