WATCH Ted Cruz’s Tea Party speech at King Street Patriots

Tonight Ted Cruz gave a fantastic speech at a Tea Party meeting put on by the King Street Patriots. I would have the entire full speech below were it not for a few connection drops at King Street. But I’ve got about 99% of it and you can watch it below:

Can’t wait to see Senator Cruz speak in Arlington, TX tomorrow evening. He has my vote!

    • Just flew back to Minnesota from Arlington- wish I could have stuck around a couple more days.
Thank you, People of Texas, for hiring Mr. Cruz!

      • timerunnersc

Thank American’s too who sent money, and those who went to Texas, spent their time by supporting Mr Cruz on the ground. His story and Mr Lee’s story about their road to Washington is incredible.

He’s in campaign mode, I feel it…….hope my gut feeling is on target like it was in 08……

  • OneThinDime

So what is Cruz really saying about amnesty? He said the House won’t pass a bill that grants amnesty without securing the border. So is he for or against amnesty?

    • JJHLH

Cruz is against amnesty. He fought against the Gang of 8 bill. He would like to ban illegal immigrants in the US from citizenship.

      • OneThinDime

He has never come out and said deportation of those illegally here is part of his plan. Every time I hear him speak about it it is always no amnesty without border security.

        • JJHLH

Cruz said as long as the path to citizenship (amnesty) is off the table, then a compromise could be reached. Good video of him discussing this in the above link.

          • OneThinDime

Thanks. If illegals are not deported it equals amnesty for the laws they have violated, including illegal entry and illegally remaining in OUR country.

        • New Dixie Nation

I can’t think of one Republican in Washington, who is for deportations. Even Cruz is weak on this issue.

          • garyinaz66

steve king and jeff sessions I believe want the law enforced, which means repatriation of illegal foreign invaders.

            • timerunnersc

Yes, but not just King and Sessions, there are many who want the law enforced.

              • OneThinDime

Enforcement of the law has to include deportation. Anything short equates to amnesty which means tens of millions more will illegally enter.

                • timerunnersc

I’m certain deportation is part of the law ignored by Obama. Your point is well made about amnesty.

        • timerunnersc

One fight at a time. Mr Cruz is in full support of current law and ICE. Obama is completely against ICE. There’s a story “I’m sure you can find in on the web”, report from the head of ICE who went public and told Americans, Obama’s executive order and Democrats have their hands tied, obstructing their enforcement according to the law.

          • OneThinDime

It’s Chris Crane. He’s had several great speeches. I’m still waiting for the ruling in the TX case, it is either ICE or Border Patrol.

If Cruz isn’t for deportation he doesn’t receive my support or vote. Our Constitution provides for our sovereignty and the protection against enemies foreign and domestic which Reagan breached and caused the problems we have today. I don’t compromise on the Constitution and if Cruz does with this I have to wonder where else he will be a squish.

            • timerunnersc

Glad you mentioned your debts, because I have been reminded often how we hear those running for a perticular office say all the right things , make all kinds of promises, then once in office we Americans see and hear all the wrong things. Yet at this point where Sen. Cruz is concerned 2016 is a long ways away, so I relish in hearing the great uplifting speeches from a man who seems very sincere, speaking from his heart.

              • OneThinDime

There is a lot I like about Ted Cruz but this issue concerns me. I hope his father pulls both he and Lee aside and gives them a tongue lashing on how rewarding illegal behavior essentially destroys what those truly and legally seeking the American dream work for. If anyone can straighten out the boys, it’s papa!

                • timerunnersc

                • JohnCraven

Ted Cruz and Mike Lee are hardly the problems here when it comes to enforcing our immigration laws yet you are making them the focus of all that is evil when you have countless others in the GOP establishment and the Marxist democrats who are pushing amnesty behind the scenes at breath taking speed – people like Graham-Nasty and McShame and Chuck you Schumer.

Ted Cruz has done the nation a great service in trying to stop this great evil of ObamaCare which is costing hundreds of thousands if not millions of Americans their private healthcare plans yet every comment out of you about this courageous man focuses on every single nuance of every speech he makes to the point of completely irrational obsession.

Our healthcare system is collapsing before our eyes, over 90 million Americans are no longer looking for work in this country, our military is being ordered by Nero Obama not to listen or support conservative Christian organizations as if they are some how traitors to our nation but all you can focus on is one aspect of what Cruz does or does not say about amnesty namely deportations.

We have an entire GOP which is refusing to stand for anything, to fight for anything, to aspire to anything, and to inspire anything but your big problem seems to be Cruz and Lee.

If our nation fails and there is every possibilty it will, and very soon, it may become us who will be deported by this regime and it may be other countries who will refuse us escape across our own borders from this totalitarian abyss we are falling into.

This thread is about Ted Cruz. My point is clear, where does he stand on amnesty. Using the democrat twist and turn of words to argue he is against amnesty when he and Lee in fact will not deport illegal aliens means they in fact support amnesty.

From your post you seem totally okay with rewarding illegal aliens, again, for violating our laws. Are you aware they are exempt from the health insurance requirement in ObamaCare yet can continue to receive FREE health care paid for by US citizens under ObamaCare? Are you aware illegal aliens are exempt from the 50 FTE count and employer mandate in ObamaCare? Are you aware big business is pushing illegal alien amnesty, right now, in the House of Representatives to lower their costs by replacing American citizen employees with amnestied illegal aliens? if you are concerned about health care, the economy and sovereignty of this country, this should be a concern for you.

                • JohnCraven

OneThinDime, anyone who’s read my posts on this subject knows that I’m not okay with “rewarding illegal aliens, again, for violating our laws.”

I’ve said virtually everything you said here:

” Are you aware they are exempt from the health insurance requirement in ObamaCare yet can continue to receive FREE health care paid for by US citizens under ObamaCare? Are you aware illegal aliens are exempt from the 50 FTE count and employer mandate in ObamaCare? Are you aware big business is pushing illegal alien amnesty, right now, in the House of Representatives to lower their costs by replacing American citizen employees with amnestied illegal aliens?”

To give illegal aliens amnesty and citizenship and not have to provide them with ObamaCare is Big Business/Big Government’s Utopian fantasy. No one will ever hire an American citizen ever again to work full time and maybe not even many American citizens will be hired to work part time. I’ve stated that many, many, many times.

What I object to in your post is you seem to be pointing the finger at Ted Cruz for this when it is the wonderful gangsters of 8 or 10 or whatever in the Senate led by Bat Nuts McCain and Graham-Nasty and Marco Rubio and Rand Paul who are pushing this, not Ted Cruz.

I’ve also said that all illegal aliens should be taken on a case by case basis in determining what’s to become of them. Some of them have been here many decades and have children and grandchildren and maybe even great grandchildren who were all born here. Any of their children born here are American citizens by birth. So are their descendents! What’s to become of the children born here whose parent or parents were illegal? Do they become wards of the state?

Some were genuinely fleeing persecution in the home countries. What of them? Send them back to persecution? Possibly death?

We shouldn’t be pushing any kind of amnesty bill in congress and Ted Cruz is not whether you take issue with the phrases he uses or not. It is the other senators who detest everything about conservatives who are pushing these bills.

I find Ted Cruz heroic for trying to stop Obama.

That’s how I think of the man and until he really does something to cause me think otherwise of him that’s how I’m going to continue to view him.

30 million illegal aliens on a case by case basis. WRONG. Deport 100% including the anchor babies. You cannot benefit from an illegal act.

Using your reasoning, the pervert that kidnapped those 3 girls and held them for many, many years should be given sympathy for his disorder and his criminal behavior ignored.

Have you thought how you would explain your position to families of molested and murdered children, husbands of wives who have been raped by illegal aliens that the perpetrator has been here for a long time and should remain? Think about that. You are saying illegal aliens have rights, which THEY DO NOT. This is OUR Country. They have their country and citizenship in their country and need to take their offspring out of ours.

        • JohnCraven

I think Ted Cruz was pretty clear in this speech that he was against the amnesty bill in Congress and that he wanted the borders secured.

Amnesty = failure to prosecute for crimes committed. Crimes committed include failure to file tax returns, failure to pay federal and state (where applicable) income taxes, illegal entry, remaining illegally (each day is a crime), applying for gov’t benefits. It shows Cruz will also change definitions to twist for the result he seeks. He also clearly in this video said “no amnesty without border security”. He DID NOT say “no amnesty and full enforcement of our immigration laws.”

    • Wigglesworth

My hope is that he is talking squishy so the media can’t beat him up over immigration, but when it comes to voting he will be conservative.

      • OneThinDime

        I pray you are correct.

Early in the email DE FUND Obamacare onslaught, I emailed my Senator Isakson…I just received an answer Saturday. It was a pitiful RINO letter. We have to start by rattling the boards in each state…it has to become clear….we want an army of Cruz style patriots defending our freedom! Don’t bother to run if you can not be loyal to the Constitution and the people that elected you!

    • JohnCraven

My condolences on your state’s senators, sallyjohanna!

Look at this quote from the CNN interview last weekend – this leader acts on principle, and does not back down …

“I’m not interested in seeing the American people suffer just because my
party might benefit politically if they blame the Democrats for the
foolish policies that have been imposed,” he [Cruz] concluded.

What a PRINCIPLED Leader is this man, Senator Ted Cruz!

Is it ANY WONDER that the Conservative Heartland is CLEAVING to him?

DEO GRATIAS for this Leader who puts the WELFARE of American Citizens FIRST, before any and every other consideration!

Listen up, Ruling Class (both sides of the aisle)!

Because of the UNWAVERING INTEGRITY of this Leader, Senator Ted Cruz, whom The Heartland can SEE FIGHTING RELENTLESSLY for their welfare/interests, a HUGE JUGGERNAUT is building ……

Get out of the way of the Palin/Cruz JUGGERNAUT you Corruptocrat DC WEASELS lest U B STEAMROLLED into Ruling Class ROAD PIZZA!

I was there and the camaraderie between conservative activists and patriots was overwhelming. I’ve never seen such a non-stop stream of people filing into the warehouse type structure. Wondered where are they putting them all? I was collecting e-mails for my PAC and everyone was cooperative and upbeat. The speech was warm and funny!

    • misterlogic0013

good for you / thanks ..

    • JohnCraven

      You lucky DAWG!

It looked electric in that room and Ted Cruz is really very witty and funny.

I loved the story about his young daughters and their trip to Mount Vernon.

Ask him to come back to Louisiana and support Rob Maness for the Republican nomination to take on Sen. Hillary Landrieu. He’s running against one of Karl Rove’s guys in the GOP primary whose not a bad man but who won’t fight the Democrats like Maness will. I think before the filibuster Ted Cruz did come here once or twice and appeared with Rob Maness.

I’d say Ted Cruz is as popular here as he is in the great state of Texas.

Almost as popular as the Duck Commander of Duck Dynasty. Pretty close I’d say.

I loved it when he said he’d been in D.C. for a while and was glad to be back in America again.

Don’t tell this to Chris Matthews but there were several “brothers and sisters” in that audience who aren’t supposed to be there according to him and his fellow travellers in the “lamestream drive-bye media” since TEA Parties are supposed to be as close to the Klan as you can possibly get without wearing sheets and hoods. And they seemed to me to be very enthusiastic about Ted Cruz’s message.

He really is a great speaker! He can ad lib with the best of them. No teleprompter needed!

He’s got some great one-liners that are really genius and hard to comeback against like the line in his interview the other day when he said that doing what some in the GOP want to do about ObamaCare – that is to let it hurt people – is like being a Bad Samaritan.

I hope he comes back to the other world of D.C. and filibusters them again for another 21 hours or more.
