Wayne Perryman absolutely destroys the modern idea that America has been a racist nation with fact after fact after fact. His premise that he unpacks is this:

Whites in America have consistently fought against racism and slavery from the beginning of this country, all the way up to the 1960s and ’70s. They were the ones that were championing the rights of the African Americans.

I didn't watch the video so maybe Mr. Perryman covered this. One of the main things never covered in education is how slavery was a corruption on most of the planet not just in the United States. It was an accepted abomination by most cultures. The left always teaches history like the United States was some how abnormal in it's acceptance of slavery when it was very much the norm for large parts of the World. I wouldn't doubt there are some blacks in this country who think the U.S. was the only country that had slaves. Slavery was especially prevalent in the Muslim world and African blacks also practiced this and sold their fellow blacks into slavery. There is no country with out it's disgrace and this was one of ours but if all Whites had been against ending that and segregation we wouldn't be where we are today. The only white people who still oppress blacks are liberals to secure their vote. There are no liberal policies that were supposed to help blacks that didn't instead harm them. The Democrat party is the party of the KKK, I wonder how many blacks know that? It's time to turn the liberal massa's out and become one people.

All I know is that I have never had a slave, my parents have never had a slave, my grand parents have never had a slave. There is over 100 years there. I owe no one ANYTHING that they did not earn on the merit of their charter and their work.

I think every one needs to take a good long look at their inner selves and figure out why they can not conduct them selves as HUMANS and not as the color of their skin or your sexual orientation. Once we start acting as ONE then we will be treated as one our contry will heal.

As long as people hold their hands out and cry for some thing that NEVER EVEN HAPPENED TO THEM they will remain oppressed.

Jim Crow ended PRIOR to my even being born, before my mother was even out of high school. I have children in college. . and I see people their age crying and whining about being oppressed.

The only oppression you have right now is what you place on your self. The world has NEVER seen a more free and just society and yet we still whine.

GROW THE HELL UP!

The actual truth, the unbiased truth, is painful. People who claim to want to know, and understand the truth don't always want to consider all of it. Most people who talk about this terrible time in our nations history mask off areas with yellow tape, and create forbiddin zones when writing books, and in discussion. You'll never arrive at the truth this way. Perryman claims to want all children in the country to learn the truth. With all due respect to Perryman, I too appreciate his efforts to try, but I doubt the whole truth can be realized, and accepted when American's always fail to cast their personal political bias aside. In search for the truth, it always ends the same way, devolving into a game of one-upsmanship, ad hominem ad nauseum.

Wow, this is amazing. the truth is finally coming out and may perhaps heal the ever festering racial tension going on that is perpitrated by politicians so they can continue to claim others are racists.

What more can be written except WOW! Many of the cited facts are easily available, and of course not related in history classes. These lies must be rooted out in order for this country to continue to flourish. Without an "enemy" the liberal liars have no handle on which to argue their issues with the country.

I would like to see more of this Man ( Mr Peppymen)

David Barton has always inspired me in this History Talks.

Coming from a Black Man (Mr Perrymen) comments of Black History is powerful.

What a one hour Conversational show it would be for Wayne Perrymen & David Barton. FOX would benefit. Glen Beck also. The history Channel. (trucking across a frozen tundra, where's the History their? )

Cool dude. Granted I think he goes a little far in the other direction. Whites have been on all sides of this issue, but its great to see someone break away from the "blame whitey" routine.

edit: BTW I learned a lot of stuff from this speech, especially with the NCAAP and the HBCs. I didn't know that.

I agree. He was nothing but complimentary towards Lincoln for example. Lincoln was the most controversial president in our nations history, nor was he a very popular politician either. Yes, Lincoln wanted slavery to end, but history classes hardly tell lincoln's whole tale. Lincoln was literally pen pal's with Karl Marx. I kid you not. Lincoln was a big admirer of Henry Clay who was a central banking, westward expansion, and public education advocate, and more. Lincoln was also a topper, and a Whig, not to mention a lawyer. Lincoln supported fiat currency, central banking, subsidizing, protectionism, public investments, and the list goes on.

What I'm drving at here is, there was a lot going on back then just as today, and it wasn't all about blacks either. Black's have been used as pawn's thoughout our nation's political history. My point is, if people really want to know the "truth", all of it needs to be told honestly.
