WHA? Trump just said “we’re not looking at amnesty, we’re looking at allowing people to stay here…” [VIDEO]

Okay this clip is amazing. Trump literally says that he’s not looking at citizenship or amnesty, but just allowing people to stay here. LOL!

Watch:

He later says in the clip:

“We’re not talking about amnesty, we’re talking about taking care of people, people that have done a good job and were not brought here of their own volition…”

Wow. Me thinks Trump really doesn’t understand what amnesty means.

But giving him the benefit of the doubt, even if Trump means just giving Dreamers legal status and not citizenship, he’s still playing into the hands of Democrats who will then claim these are second class citizens and that they MUST be awarded full citizenship like everyone else because…civil rights, slavery etc.

This is the very reason we call legal status amnesty, because we know it will eventually become citizenship.

Trump also addressed getting the wall. Just watch:

Are you confused? Trump is suggesting he won’t do anything if he doesn’t get the wall, however he’s also suggesting that the wall isn’t part of this DACA deal. He says he needs to have an understanding with Democrats that the wall will be funded in the budget or some other vehicle.

So Trump is just going to take the word of Democrats that in order to get DACA they won’t obstruct the wall? Are you kidding me?

I can see now Trump is going to get burned and burned badly if he goes through with this.

It reminds me of a scene from The Flash where Barry Allen made a deal with Leonard Snart (aka Captain Cold), but then Cold betrays Allen in the end and says this:

It’s true, I did [give you my word]. But here’s the thing – I’m a criminal! And a liar. And I hurt people. And I rob them. What did you expect me to do, not be what I am? I saw an opportunity to turn things to my advantage and did. Who you’re really mad at is yourself. This is on you, Barry!
