A car apparently tried to breach a security barrier at the White House, which has put the White House on lockdown:

As it’s being reported the car did not breach the barrier. It’s also being reported this was a female driver.
This is alarming considering the Australian PM is in the White House visiting Trump.
I’ve no idea what this is related too, but hopefully we’ll find out soon what this person’s motivation was for doing this.
UPDATE:
No shots were fired in the apprehension of the female driver and no officers were injured.
UPDATE 2:
It’s being reported now that this wasn’t an accident, but it was intentional. Also this woman was known to the Secret Service and this had nothing to do with the president.
