White House suggests it is APPROPRIATE for Trump to call NFL players ‘sons of bitches’

The White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders was asked today if Trump went too far in calling NFL players ‘sobs that should be fired’ and this is how she responded:

What a joke!

SHS says that it’s always appropriate for Trump to ‘to defend our flag, to defend the national anthem, and to defend the men and women who fought and died to defend it.” Well that sounds good and all out of context, but the question was if the president went too far. It sounds to me like she’s essentially saying Trump did not go too far, that calling NFL players ‘sons of bitches’ it totally okay since he was defending the flag.

She’ll deny she said that, of course, but isn’t that what she’s really saying?

Even if you disagree with me, you must admit that Trump’s comments puts the White House between a rock and hard place. This ‘I won’t apologize for anything’ crap from Trump is ridiculous. He should absolutely apologize for going too far, if for no other reason that to try and reunify everyone in the wake of his divisive comments. But he won’t and thus the White House must defend his comments while making sure they don’t apologize for his comments.

Or as they put it on the Big Bang theory:

Just for the record, SHS was essentially asked the same thing from another reporter and she repeated the above answer almost verbatim.
