Trump just attacked his Deputy AG on Twitter moments ago, suggesting the deputy is leading a witch hunt against him:
I am being investigated for firing the FBI Director by the man who told me to fire the FBI Director! Witch Hunt

Wow. I know Trump thinks he is defending himself, but I just don’t understand the rationale behind a tweet like this. He’s attacking people in his own administration as if they are the enemy.
Pardon my language but with tweets like this, Trump is turning this whole thing into a sh*t show.
If you recall, he did something similar earlier this month when he hit the DOJ on his Travel ban:
The Justice Dept. should have stayed with the original Travel Ban, not the watered down, politically correct version they submitted to S.C.
— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) June 5, 2017
The Justice Dept. should ask for an expedited hearing of the watered down Travel Ban before the Supreme Court – & seek much tougher version!

It was weird (and dumb) when he posted those tweets, but today’s tweet against his Deputy AG is different. He isn’t talking about a policy change or an executive order, he’s directly attacking his Deputy AG for an investigation by Special Counsel Robert Mueller.
I get that Trump is pissed about this and knows it wouldn’t look good if he took action against Rosenstein or Mueller, but Twitter is not the place to attack members of your own administration. He needs to find a better way vent his frustrations.
He also tweeted these tweets this morning:
After 7 months of investigations & committee hearings about my "collusion with the Russians," nobody has been able to show any proof. Sad!

The Fake News Media hates when I use what has turned out to be my very powerful Social Media – over 100 million people! I can go around them

Despite the phony Witch Hunt going on in America, the economic & jobs numbers are great. Regulations way down, jobs and enthusiasm way up!
— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) June 16, 2017
SAD!
