Holy moly. Florida Governor Rick Scott ordered a state of emergency because alt-right scumbag Richard Spencer is scheduled to speak on a campus there.

What this will allow the gov to do is put cops on emergency preparedness in case the protesters and anti-protesters get out of hand like they did in Charlottesville. I guess that’s reasonable.
It’s a shame that we have to spend $500,000 for security on a scumbag like Spencer to speak, but I guess I’d rather have that than have any speech shut down. We have principles dammit… some of us do anyway.
