After last night’s fiasco in Chicago, there are accusations that the left was agitating the violence. Trump even mentioned it on national news channels.
Well, that’s just true.
Here’s a petition that was circulated demanding his rally be cancelled:

But that was the only tweet I could find about this the day before the event. Is this absolute proof that they sent violent thugs into a peaceful protest? Well, not really. And it’s just plain true that Trump has incited violence against protesters multiple times previously.
Last night he tried to pretend that he had nothing to do with it. But it is not contradictory to admit that leftists agitated for a conflict, and that Trump probably incited his supporters too, as Ted Cruz suggested last night in response to the Trump riots.
