‘You cannot be denied coverage if you have a pre-existing condition’ – Paul Ryan

Paul Ryan was on “This Week” to answer criticisms of the AHCA bill.

Ryan explains how it is that people are not denied coverage if they have a pre-existing condition. Stephanopoulos interrupts to exclaim that it may be true, but that just means they’ll be forced to spend more, and lose insurance when they can’t afford it.

Here’s Paul Ryan explaining why the cuts to Medicare aren’t really a cut, and they won’t result in a loss of people being covered, something a lot of liberals are charging:

Here Ryan says Republicans are keeping their word about repeal, so there won’t be yuge losses in the midterm elections of 2018:

He also plays down the “bogus attack from the left” about the bill not being scored by the CBO:

I’m not going to pretend I understand the subtleties of the bill. But I get the sense from Ryan that he’s offering spin instead of substantive answers to pressing questions. I’m reserving judgement, especially since the Senate may churn out a completely different bill. What do you people think?
