“You SAVED our SOULS as Jews, you gave us back our Judaism” – Selma Rabbi’s daughter about Civil Rights

I don’t even know what to make of this exchange between Susannah Heschel, the daughter of a Rabbi that attended the march at Selma 50 years ago. Speaking to MSNBC’s favorite tampon-earring wearing host Melissa Harris Perry, she said that the Civil Rights Movement “saved the Jews.”

Now as Christians, we believe only Jesus Christ can save our souls, but for some reason these people believe marching on a bridge is salvation. That’s MSNBC theology for ya.
