i think that all three of them had a point, but i got got a better point. i think that we should start making laws for caring fire arms like the following; anyone with more than to dui's in the past year should not be able to cary fire arms for the fact that it shows that they are irresponsible and there for means that you dont know if their going to get drunk and accidentaly shoot someone. another one should be that if people have made any sevare threats in the past like i'm going to kill you with a glock or other type of gun they should outomaticaly be revoked of carying any type of a fire arm. another one should be that they have to have a gun licence for a pistol for so long and then they have to work their way up to a more powerful guns. another one should be that if they have a record of an assaultive past tarwd people they should not be alowed a fire arm.

They were the cutting edge weapons of their day; they were "military style weapons" and yes, they did use them for hunting deer. They hunted a lot of Brit's, too.

It is super difficult to comment on this as it is a designing part of our American history going all the way back to the actual first shot fired in the revolutionary war. It was in fact fired to warn the people that the British were coming and that they were exceptionally intent on taking all weapons from the settlers/ Pilgrims. Note the first part of that: "TAKE THE WEAPONS AWAY" About 28 months later the British went scurrying back to merry ole England with tail firm between legs.
Here's is the point. Two hundred and thirty-seven years ago our forefather, all extremely brave men. Sick and tired of being told what, when, where and how by King George III. Took up arms as they feared that he would send his naval personnel to confiscate weapons that did not belong to him. These men worked hard and were taxed at unbelievable rates. These taxes were actual almost as high as today's levels.

Which these men all used for food and protection. Anyone that does not know the outcome of that story is in deep doo doo.
So we have come full circle 237 years later and we are at exactly at the same juncture as then with one exception. There are decidedly way more folks in the NEW LAND. Our taxes just went up, EVERYBODY'S and the socialists that be are gearing up to tax more shortly after tax season. Our gun right are now being infringed upon without due process and not many are attempting to stop it. Over 4000 federal laws per day are being made to make virtually everyone in this land a federal criminal on some level. Without our guns and the right to stand up and say, HEY WAIT A BLASTED MINUET, there is absolutely nothing to stop them.
We are so utter close to becoming a socially communist Nation that is touted around the world as a third world nation that is running rabid. This is not the way our fore father intend nor did they design it this way. Not one point of the Constitution has been ad-heard to in the last four years minimum. Probably a bit longer than that. So cutting to long windiness, unless we stand and say, NO WAY IN HELL, are you going to oppress us any further and while you are at it,"GET OUT OF OUR COUNTRY" I suggest highly that all of you out there ponder this post deeply.
People will stop listening to liberals when law-abiding citizens start getting killed by criminals with guns. Criminals will always find access to guns. And even if there was a total ban on guns in this country (something that would be more hateful than I could ever imagine), but let's say ALL guns were banned in this country. Criminals could still get more than enough guns and ammunition through Mexico. Mexico has very tough gun laws now. How's that working out for them with their drug wars? Literally thousands have been killed. If criminals want guns, they will get guns. It's the regular citizens who will be unarmed and will pay the price of the mistakes made by liberals. Always remember that during Prohibition, illegal alcohol was literally flooding into this country, either from Mexico, Canada, or being transported by sea. The SAME THING could happen today if guns were banned. If criminals see a lot of money being made in illegal guns, they will flood into that market. They are literally doing it now with drugs. Why wouldn't they do it if all guns were illegal here, too? These new gun laws are a disaster waiting to happen. The family of the first person killed in New York because of this new law should sue the state for millions and take the case to the Supreme Court. Seems like that's the only way they will listen.
We should randomly drug test all these politicians. Look what cocaine and all the weed did to our EMPEROR.

I hardly think it is the responsibility of one man to sway an election. Hannity is good at what Hannity does. He isn't the fireball that a person like Mark Levin is, and that's okay. There has to be conservatism packaged in different ways for different people. On FOX, Hannity is shown in prime time right after O'Reilly. It's a perfect placement - those more middle of the road O'Reilly "folks" likely continue watching Hannity, who brings more of the conservative right to the forefront. Hannity is who he is. He's solid, even if he is a bit too polite for my tastes sometimes.
That State of the State address by Cuomo sounded eeirly, in style and tone, like any speech that Hitler ever made to work up the masses. I seriously thought I would hear "Sieg Heil, Sieg Heil" at the end.
When will people realize who and what these people really are? Why do they fall for this crap every time? Wake up, America. They are not acting in your best interest. Listen to what they are saying - really listen. It's frightening.
I would bet that the majority of New Yorkers never even listened or cared. Half of them likely don't know what is going on in their state. Until it affects their way of life, when they try to buy a weapon or ammunition... then the screams will be heard. Too late. That seems to be the way things go these days.

Criminally insane estranged husbands don't care if they carry a gun with a 10-round or more magazine! A group of three or four armed intruders, who now have been emboldened thanks to the recently-passed New York law, don't care if they use their illegal "assault" rifles to power their way into a citizen's house, rob the homeowner, and then kill the homeowner (who used to own an "assault" rifle himself and had only a pistol with seven rounds in the magazine) and his family. At least the homeowner would have had more of a fighting chance, if he would have been permitted to possess an "assault" rifle and magazines that held more than 10 rounds. All the asinine New York law has done is restrict law-abiding citizens and erode their Constitutional rights.

I can't help but think that if the NRA and the TEA Party movement were to join forces and create an alternative to the Marxist Democrat Party and the fight-for-nothing Big Whigs of the GOP, they would win major contests all over this great country, especially if they supported pro-life positions on the weakest and most vulnerable amongst us - the unborn and the elderly and the gravely ill.
However, according to Dana Perino as she later told Hannity in that same show, the caves of the Big Whigs of the GOP, who fight for nothing, are just part and parcel of how things get done in Washington. Which is exactly what's wrong with doing things the way they've always been done by the GOP's elites like Dana Perino.
I know a number of Republicans who've switched or who are switching to independent because the GOP caves on everything and fights for nothing worth fighting for. I think they would join an alternative party made up of joining the NRA with The TEA Party Movement in a heartbeat.
I would join such a party, especially if it espoused the principles of Ronald Reagan as its core beliefs.

Speaking of Dana Perrino, did you hear her regurgitate Obama's crap when she said the Republicans, by giving in to the 'fiscal cliff' deal, prevented a tax hike to 98% of all Ameicans? I never liked Dana Perrino. She always came across as arrogant to me, and I never thought of her as anything more than a republican - not a conservative. She spouts the party line always.
Hannity has been at this since long before Obama was ever elected and like the rest of us he's fed up with the hypocrisy, blatant in your face lies and accusations. Being a guy and having fought this hard this long it finally comes down to either letting your tongue loose or your fist. I think the guys lucky Hannity didn't deck him.
Obama is a wannabe dictator and he keeps pushing the envelope. Democrat surrogates in New York and elsewhere are also pushing the envelope and the new gun laws just passed in New York are evidence of that reality. Whether pushing the envelope or bypassing Congress altogether, Democrats have made it very clear they want to repeal the 2nd Amendment at some point. They won't stop with just assault weapons or large magazines. That's just a foot in the door to eventually repeal the 2nd Amendment altogether in my humble opinion. Democrats tried an assault weapons ban in 1994 that lasted ten years and accomplished little. Violent crime actually went up in some areas during the ban. Another assault weapons ban will likely have the same undesirable effects. Less guns mean more crime. More guns in the hands of law abiding citizens means lower crime rates throughout the nation. That is the substantiated evidence already in the record books. Chicago has banned hand guns and violent crime is running rampant in Chicago even as we speak. New York's new gun laws won't accomplish a thing most likely. Except putting more citizens at risk from gun toting criminals - who don't obey the laws.
If Congress allows Obama to shred the Constitution and overrule the "will of the people" then Congress is no better than Barack Obama and the Federal Government should be abolished and new government should be instituted, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form, as shall seem most likely to effect the safety and happiness of the American people. If the Federal Government, and in particular the Obama administration, continues down the same destructive path, the United States of America will undoubtedly go bankrupt and the safety and security of the American people will be compromised. If our current Government becomes destructive to these ends, "it is the right of the people to alter or abolish it, and institute new government."
Politicians are merely public servants who are sworn to uphold the Constitution and to work for the good of the country and also to ensure the safety and security of the American people. If politicians up on Capitol Hill refuse to carry out their sworn duties then those same politicians should be fired from their jobs. Politicians work for the American people, not the other way around. They were elected to "serve" the country, not bankrupt and destroy it, or confiscate guns from law abiding citizens, etc. If Republicans can't muster the courage to get our nation's fiscal house in order then there is little hope of saving America. Because as we know the Democrats are spending America into oblivion and Barack Obama has personally accumulated more DEBT than all previous administrations combined. Facts are stubborn things. Obama has NO intention of reining in spending and as long as he remains in office every entitlement program will remain off the table in any negotiations. Taxes will continue to go up in Obama's second term also. Obama has already stated he wants more revenue (taxes) but has also made it clear he has no intention of reining in spending. Therefore to alleviate the severe problems facing America which Barack Obama and his socialist administration have caused or made much much worse since taking office, Obama's agenda must be eradicated. The road Obama is taking America down will lead to bankruptcy, a severely weakened military and a morally corrupt society. Ben Bernanke is printing money out of thin air 24/7/365 which will eventually lead to hyper inflation and to an economy in the throes of depression. Ultra low interest rates encourages more borrowing and conversely it discourages saving and the result is it will lead to even more debt. Ben Bernanke also wants to eliminate the debt ceiling. If that happened it would absolve politicians of any ethical responsibility to get America's fiscal house in order. In other words, corrupt politicians will continue bankrupting the nation at breakneck speed and the decline of America will continue unabated.
The love of money is the root of all kinds of evil and if there is no "hindrance" in place to rein in the Federal Government's insane spending policies then unfortunately the United States of America will reach insolvency even that much sooner.
There is no greater love than to lay down one's life for a friend. Substitute the word friend for America and then multiply that by 100 million. Subsequently, it may require the concerted effort of a hundred million patriotic Americans in order to ensure the survival of America. If the Federal Government continues enacting policies that negatively affect the economy and/or its financial sustainability then the American people have the right and indeed the obligation to abolish such a Government. If Obama tries to confiscate guns from law abiding citizens it could be 1776 all over again. I don't think Obama will chance it. But the wannabe dictator might want to step up his game and become the full-fledged dictator he really wants to be. Get ready America! Civil War could be knocking on our door once again!
What would you rather be? A slave to a dictatorship? Or live free under the Constitution? The choice is abundantly obvious and the New Hampshire state motto says it all: 'Live free or die'.. trying. Pray that Barack Obama will come to his senses. If he insists on continuing down the same treacherous path he's currently taking America down then the American people must act in order to save the nation from Obama's destructive policies. Unless of course you like the thought of living under a dictatorship or are okay being ruled by a tyrannical government ruled by socialist and gun grabbing Democrats. Remember what happened in China under Mao Tse Tung and also in Russia under Joseph Stalin. The list goes on.
Tyrannical governments are always a bad thing needless to say. Republicans so far have demonstrated a willingness to talk tough but when push comes to shove they usually end up "caving" to Obama's ruthless demands. Therefore the American people cannot trust or rely on establishment Republicans in Congress to help right the ship called America. Patriotic Americans who put God and country above self may ultimately be the very ones who save America from the destructive hands of the progressive liberal agenda. The ballot box is the preferred method but make no mistake. The Founding Father's left a Constitution in place that gives American citizens the right and the obligation to abolish or alter any government it deems tyrannical or insufferable. Of course progressives will say it's illegal and unconstitutional to overthrow the government but they are the ones who are immoral and committing acts which are destructive toward America and its future. The American people would simply be acting upon a moral duty guaranteed to them under the U.S. Constitution. The right to alter or abolish any government that becomes tyrannical or insufferable. If open elections cease to exist or fraud causes elections to become corrupt and unreliable then the only other option would be for patriotic Americans to take up arms against their own government. Let's hope it never comes to that.
I read somewhere that NY is the best place to live for criminals, illegals and politicians, and I agree. This new gun law is unconstitutional.

I thank my lucky stars I left New York 7 years ago, and it has been the greatest decision of my life aside from marrying my wife. In some small way I feel relieved Cuomo passed this laws because it guarantees he will not be president ever.
