11-year-old who wasn’t allowed to do ‘hero’ report on Trump gets a surprise from the president!

An 11-year-old’s story has been making the rounds on conservative media after she was told by her teacher that she couldn’t do a “hero” report on President Trump because of what he said about women.

She got a pretty cool surprise from the president in the mail:

Well that’s neat.

Here’s her parents talking about what happened on Laura Ingraham’s program:

Here’s more:

When sixth-graders at Samoset Middle School were assigned to pick a hero on whom they would write a report, 11-year-old Bella Moscato said her choice was a no-brainer.

“Donald Trump is my hero,” she says.

The 45th U.S. president has been Bella’s idol since she was 8 years old, which is why she dressed up as Trump for a third-grade class project. But Bella says when she told her sixth-grade teacher that Trump was her choice for the hero project, the teacher nixed the idea.

Bella says her teacher said Trump “spreads negativity and says bad stuff about women” in front of another teacher and students in the class. The teacher told her to pick another hero.

Bella’s mother, Valerie Moscato, says she was outraged when her daughter called her from school about the incident. She says what the teacher did amounts to intimidation and censorship.

Arthur Moscato, the girl’s father, says he can’t believe someone would tell his daughter that the current U.S. president cannot be her hero.

This actually DOES fit the definition of censorship, for once, right? I mean, a school is supposed to have standards for what they teach, it’s called a curriculum. BUT, the teacher clearly made this choice based on her political opinion, not based on a curriculum.

The school denies the story:

It is not accurate that this student was told that they were not allowed to conduct research or report on any individual for a school assignment, including President Trump. To the best of our knowledge, by choice the student is still conducting their project of President Trump.

Whether it happened or not, I don’t know. But it’s definitely believable. Especially when liberals defended Bill Clinton for decades, and then ALL OF SUDDEN they discover that men shouldn’t use their official standing to take advantage of women. Weird!

Ah, for the good ol’ days — when, if a news outlet only had he said and she said on provable facts, they actually did some reporting and found out what the truth was!

This is why we don’t play fast and loose with the word “hero.”

I HAVE BEEN SAYING THIS FOR YEARS, PEOPLE.

Trump is doing fine as President, but he was her hero a long time ago? Why is that?

What is “a long time ago” to an 11 year old? Maybe he’s been her ‘hero’ since she was 9?

Maybe she liked hearing him say,”You’re fired!”.

Valeri Moscato and Husband, especially to your 11 yr old daughter Bella Moscato, you epitomize and embody Courage, Truth, all that is Good on this Earth.

Never surrender to hate ! Stand your ground for Truth, Family, Faith, and Country !

It’s absolutely comforting to know Bella Moscato is America’s future generation leaders.

If someone thinks Charlie Manson is their hero then that’s who the crazy azz believes. We can disagree but can’t say they can’t be someone’s hero. Maybe I don’t like this teacher’s hero.

Barring the fact that most people’s heroes today are far from heroes this teacher is way over stepping.

I am glad I grew up when I did, when teachers were encouraging, no matter what you wrote about, but today’s school teachers, who lack proper grammar and even proper writing skills, are an embarrassment. Back in “the olden days,” it was common for kids to cite the POTUS, governor, mayor, minister, priest, teacher or principal, and even their PARENTS as role models and heroes. Apparently, that is no longer permitted. Time to de-federalize education and put it back in the hands of parents locally! That is what the PTA is supposed to do! It will be a tough job for parents, but if they do not advocate for their own kids, who will? Teachers like this miserable, hate-filled nut? HAH!!!! unamused

I was shocked when my sons’ middle school play had a picture of then President-elect Obama in a framed picture on the set, when the play called for a picture of the President. I politely informed the teacher that it was not appropriate and gave her a framed picture of President Bush to take its place. Political indoctrination is rampant in our public schools.

Public school education is hazardous to student minds. The public school curriculum is about political correctness dictated by leftists and is liberal- agenda driven. If I had to do it all again, I would have home-schooled my children. Unfortunately, they are now under the spell of leftist crazies and have bought into the global warming hoax.

My two boys were also heavily influenced by their teachers personal views. The 27 year old is pulling out of the dive as he starts realizing the truth about taxes and government excess. I am fearful that my 22 year old may never recover.

That teacher needs to be taken to the principal’s office and given 100 swats.

The teacher won’t show up to explain herself on Fox. In the classroom she’s the boss and doesn’t have to explain anything, so I seriously doubt she’s going to want to defend it to anyone.

What an f-in disgrace. They would allow Malcolm X and Al not so Sharpton but not anyone that doesn’t fit their leftist narrative.
I am sick of the NEA and all of the teacher’s unions. They are a disease on our children’s minds.

How nice. And yes, the school most likely DID censor/discriminate. That’s what they do.

Wearing much too much makeup for an eleven year old, however, many kudos to this young lady for her using brain power in her thinking and not kowtowing to the NEA union teacher and school officials.

Yes, they can…have them sic Jay Sekulow, Mat Staver, Kelly Shackelford, John Whitehead, or even David Limbaugh on them for violating the kid’s Constitutional rights.

I would have chosen Ted Cruz and Scoop. Neither would have been approved by that teacher. To invalidate a child’s choice is a putdown. I love what trump did but would have preferred a phone call to the little girl.

This is another example of Trump demonstrating his “personal touch” with his fans. There are many people who have told stories about how he reached out to them personally.

Of course, he’s not the only President or very famous person to do that. But not all do, and it’s certainly not a given. I think it shows a side of him that contradicts the negative image the Dems/Media are constantly putting out of him.

I’m glad Laura brought it up during her interview with Bella’s parents.
I hope Laura gets to talk to the teacher, but I won’t hold my breath.
