Mitch McConnell made the announcement tonight on social media and the details are coming out. The massive Covid relief deal has been reached, after MONTHS of Democrat intractability.
It’s $900 billion, which is less than the $1.8 trillion or even $3 trillion that was on the table at one point. Naturally, the people who get the least are average everyday Americans who have been hurt in the wallet.
That equals $600 stimulus check for individuals. Which won’t be much stimulus, and comes from the taxes of people who make more than $75,000. So … eh.
BREAKING: As the American people continue battling the coronavirus this holiday season, they will not be on their own.
Congress has just reached an agreement. We will pass another rescue package ASAP. More help is on the way.
