96-year-old WWII veteran plays stirring rendition of National Anthem at US Women’s soccer game and it goes VIRAL

96-year-old World War II veteran Pete DuPré stood before a huge crowd at the US Women’s national soccer game against Mexico in New Jersey and wowed them with a stirring rendition of the National Anthem on his harmonica:

Absolutely amazing and quite moving. If you need a tissue after that, no one will blame you.

ESPN’s version of the video on Twitter has 3 million views and no doubt you can expect even more than that on Facebook.

We salute you ‘Harmonica Pete’ for your service at a time when the world so desperately needed you. Thank you, sir, for your service.
