I normally try and keep it to political news here, but this is so horrifying I feel the need to post this. Now I don’t know anything about this woman or if in fact she is actually crazy, but in an age where abortion is the law of the land and we tell people they don’t have to suffer the consequences of their sexual exploits, what do we expect? We’ve diminished the value of the unborn baby so much that many people don’t even consider it a person anymore until it is actually born and severed from the mother. Again, I’ve no clue what this woman was thinking and she sounds pretty dang crazy to me, but to suggest that our pro-choice abortion culture doesn’t have any bearing or influence on situations like this – well I think that’s a big stretch.
You know, one thing about being a Christian is that I believe that God chooses to save the little ones who die before they can decide for themselves. That’s the only silver lining I can find in a story like this. In fact, when I get to heaven, I hope to see all those children who have been murdered through abortion, whose lives have been snuffed out by evil parents like this woman, gathered around the throne of the Father wrapped in His mercy and love.
