A section of the green line trolley near Qualcomm Stadium has been temporarily suspended as police investigate a suspicious item.
Authorities began investigating the suspicious item at the Qualcomm Trolley station at approximately 1:45 p.m. Sunday.
Green Line trolley service has been suspended between Fenton Parkway and Grantville. MTS says there is an approximate 20 minute delay for commuters.
This is especially alarming as it’s being reported that the same person probably put together the pipe bomb in New Jersey and the pressure cooker bomb found in New York yesterday.
We’ll update as more information is available.
