When Clinton and Trump meet for their second debate tonight, there will be a lot of predictable moments. So predictable, in fact, that we know some of them in advance.
For example, CNN has revealed what their opening question will be and, since we know the candidates, we can pretty easily guess how the responses will go.
Here is the unsurprising opening salvo:
Moderators Anderson Cooper of CNN and Martha Raddatz of ABC have adjusted their plan for the debate in light of the Trump tape, sources told CNNMoney.
While everything is subject to change until air time, an ABC source said — perhaps confirming the obvious — that Trump and Clinton will both be prompted to address the matter.
Yes, the Trump Tape, which was absolutely going to come up no matter what as it’s the biggest story in the political world at the moment, will be addressed right off the bat.
But that’s not all. In what is sure to tickle every Alex Jones G-spot, we know who gets to answer first.
A coin toss by the Commission on Presidential Debates determined that Clinton will speak first.
The answers, like pretty much every answer in a political “debate” is easy to guess. Hillary will say Trump is a misogynist who said something so ugly that he should be bumped from the ticket. Trump will say Bill Clinton has bumped more ugly than a runaway car at a Nick Nolte impersonator convention.
And the circus will continue.
