CNN: Trump was ‘WHITE HOT’ that Comey investigated Russia and not leaks more

CNN is reporting that Trump was absolutely white hot over Comey investigating the Russian meddling and not investigating enough the leaks from the White House.

OK so here’s the deal. You could plausibly believe that Comey wasn’t investigating the leaks enough, and that IS a reasonable basis to fire him. BUT, to fire him because he was investigating Trump too much does seem a little improper. IF the report is true.

Trump really excels at this kind of stuff – doing things that are technically legal, but completely upend tradition and past patterns and expectations.
