Senator Mark Warner said that the tapes from Trump, IF they exist, have to be subpoena’d in order to preserve them.

Given that Nixon probably wouldn’t have resigned without the presence of his tapes, I doubt these things exist anymore, if they ever did at all. I’ve seen reports from people who interacted with Trump before that he almost certainly would record phone calls and other interactions with people. His lawyer, Michael Cohen, says that he never saw Trump record anyone, and has absolutely no memory of him recording anyone….
