Ironic that they would be chanting this to the tune of ‘London bridge is falling down’. Yeah they know what they are doing and this ‘song and dance’ ain’t going away anytime soon. It’s just a matter of time before it’s here en masse:
First, the idea that education is a right not a privilege reminds me of the battle we had here in the US last year. Obamacare advocates made the same basic argument. The advantage is that, the moment you declare something a right, pocketbook issues are off the table. It makes me wonder if those same advocates will be demanding free higher education in a few years. I’d bet they will.
