Even Fox News’ Howie Kurtz says that the nutty tweets this morning Trump sent were more of a self-inflicted wound than they were a “counter-punch,” which many people are claiming.

This is somewhat important because Kurtz has mostly defended Trump and offered the Republican narratives and talking points to do it. In this case he’s saying Trump got way too personal, and he could have ignored the slights by Morning Joe and Mika.
I’m seeing a lot of defenders on social media on this, but does anyone actually think this was a good idea that is going to help his agenda at all? I doubt it…
