One of the few times Twitter might be worthwhile anymore is when they hit on a genuine hypocrite, and Joel Osteen might be just the guy!!
Osteen’s name was dragged through the mud because so many thought it was hypocritical for him to close the doors of his mega-church in Houston while thousands need help and dry harbor.
Somebody took pics of the church, showing that it has not been hit by flooding:
Another report came from someone saying she lives near the church:
. It doesn't make sense why you're not opening up your mega church to house Houston citizens, help me understand that. Jesus. pic.twitter.com/CzCiEtbkgY

Now, these could be false reports, but so far no one is denying it.
Instead, Osteen is being absolutely obliterated on Twitter, where he trended for a while.
Joel Osteen: "Prayers to all the people in Hurricane Harvey."
"Can we use ya church for cover?"

Joel Osteen's megachurch is designed for the rising tithe, not tide.

Harvey has driven the point home once again: @JoelOsteen and megachurch prosperity-gospel preachers are frauds shilling religion for money.

Joel Osteen is just doing during a natural disaster what he does every day: bilk unsuspecting believers out of their hard-earned money.

I know what the first question at Joel Osteen's last judgment is going to be.

BUT, for those of us who know how nefarious the “prosperity doctrine” is that he preaches, we’re not surprised.
