Hope Hicks testified to Congress that she was HACKED… and can’t access her email?!

It was leaked today that Trump’s communications director Hope Hicks was HACKED so bad she doesn’t even have access to that email anymore!!

What?

From the Hill:

Former White House communications director Hope Hicks told House Intelligence Committee members last week that one of her email accounts had been hacked, according to NBC News.

Sources told the network that Hicks told Rep. Jim Himes (D-Conn.) during the interview that she was can no longer access an email account used for President Trump’s campaign and a personal account.

Hicks said she was one of the accounts had been compromised, but it is unclear which one.

Liberals are freaking out over the news, given how much Trump railed on Hillary for the likelihood that her private account was hacked.

But it really isn’t fair to blame Hicks right? We don’t know the circumstances of the hacking – there are all manner of ways it could have happened and not been the fault of Hicks or anyone else on the Trump team. Hillary was criticized because she stupidly had her own private email and that gave foreign entities the chance to hack her.

More:

It is considered abnormal for a witness to reveal to a panel that they are unable to access past accounts, according to NBC.

Hicks resigned from her post as communications director last week after having worked for Trump since the dawn of his presidential campaign in 2015.

She appeared before the Intelligence Committee the day before she announced her resignation. During the interview, she refused to answer various questions from the committee about her time in the administration and the presidential transition period.

In any case, it’ll be interesting to see what comes of it – who has access to those emails? Or is she just saying that in order to cover her derriere and not produce emails to the committee? HMMMMM….
