Another day, another contemptuous interview from CNN’s Chris Cuomo.
In this interview Cuomo interviews State Department spox Heather Nauert, and the very first thing he begins with is something some slouch in the White House said about McCain. Nauert didn’t even know what he was talking about and she even told him that, only to get condescension in return over disbelief that she didn’t already know about it.
Turns out when he explained what he was referring to, she actually had heard about it but didn’t know enough about the person to really weigh in.
And just to point out, I didn’t even know exactly what he was referring to myself. At first I thought he was referring to what someone said yesterday about McCain on Fox News. I hadn’t even heard about the White House incident where apparently a joke by a female White House aide about John McCain dying fell flat.
And why bring that up in the first place, as she doesn’t even work in the White House. Why not bring up the Americans that were just rescued from N. Korea, or the upcoming talks in N. Korea, or even the Iran deal or the attack on Israel. Ugh.
Which brings me to my second and larger point.

Toward the end of the interview and in the short clip above, Cuomo asks about the Iranian attack on Israel, specifically whether Nauert thought the attack on Israel was because Trump pulled out of the Iran deal.
Nauert hit back hard, saying “It’s unbelievable that some would try to blame the United States for Iran’s actions.” And she’s right!
Cuomo then suggests we may see more of these attacks ‘now that Iran is in a hostile disposition’. To which Nauert correctly points out that Iran has been in a hostile disposition for many years! And she’s right again.
Cuomo is bending over backwards just to try and blame Trump for the attack on Israel, when in reality it’s more likely that Iran attacked Israel because Netanyahu is destroying Iranian bases in Syria to prevent them from having a military presence they can use to attack Israel.
But even more than that, Iran has been waging proxy wars against Israel and other countries for years. To suggest that they are only now hostile is ridiculous on its face.
As we often see, this interview once again proves just how hackish CNN’s Chris Cuomo can be, all over his disdain for Trump.
