North Korea accuses Trump of trying to START A WAR in scathing response to cancelled meeting

North Korea is not happy with Trump calling off the meeting with Secretary of State Pompeo, but they didn’t answer any of the objections the U.S. made against them.

From the Hill:

A state-controlled newspaper in North Korea is accusing the United States of “hatching a criminal plot” and “double-dealing” after the U.S. canceled a planned meeting between Secretary of State Mike Pompeo and North Korean officials, Reuters reported.

The Rodong Sinmun newspaper said U.S. military units in Japan were attempting to infiltrate Pyongyang, according to the news service.

“Such acts prove that the U.S. is hatching a criminal plot to unleash a war against the DPRK and commit a crime which deserves merciless divine punishment in case the U.S. fails in the scenario of the DPRK’s unjust and brigandish denuclearisation first,” the paper reportedly said.

Very weird, but this is exactly what many predicted would happen – North Korea is known for pretending to negotiate, taking their concessions, and then blaming their interlocutor. That’s what it sounds like they’re doing now:

“We cannot but take a serious note of the double-dealing attitudes of the U.S. as it is busy staging secret drills involving man-killing special units while having a dialogue with a smile on its face,” it added.

They make it sound like they held up their part of the bargain and the U.S. is cheating, but the U.S. is accusing them of the same. So what is Trump going to do here? North Korea has just bought itself a ton of time, and we are no closer to ridding the world of this evil regime, or them changing their ways.
