Gaffney: Obama hiding Islamic radicalism in euphemisms

The entire interview is good, but what hit me was Gaffney talking about Obama’s use of words like extremism:

The President is incessantly using the word extremism or violent extremism. This is a euphemism. It is masking, not helping to clarify what it is we’re up against. It’s not extremists. It is those who adhere to Sharia. …

Unless we’re clear that the Muslim Brotherhood is the enemy, we’re going to find not only Egypt succumbing to, I’m afraid, a very virulently hostile and dangerous program, but I’m afraid much of the rest of the region and perhaps freedom-loving nations elsewhere will be at risk as well.

He’s right. When Obama says extremism, he means right-wing/left-wing domestic terror groups and international islamic-terror groups like the Muslim Brotherhood or Al Qaeda. But by keeping it somewhat ambiguous, he’s lumping them all together which in reality isn’t really fair. Not all terror comes in the same package.

But what this is really couched in is political correctness. Obama doesn’t want to say Islamic extremist because that might make all us dumb white rednecks hate all Muslims. Cause we are that stupid, you know, and probably unpredictable with all those guns and Bibles we cling to. Yee Haw!

So while Obama dilly dallies with political correctness, the nation sleeps while the muslim brotherhood continues to work it’s black magic here in the states until one day we find ourselves in a similar crisis like Egypt.
