You know, when I get depressed at the state of politics in this country, all it takes is a good wacky liberal meltdown to cheer me up! Here’s a really good one.
Yesterday when the Democrats had their response to Trump’s speech, the New York Times hit Chuck with a fact-check.
Fact Check: Senator Chuck Schumer's response to President Trump's address https://t.co/aaKB6NMLPQ pic.twitter.com/7IdMsXWEMs

OK. That makes sense. It’s not even that much of a fact-check – it adds context to the claim. It doesn’t even say it’s false!!
But that doesn’t matter to the batcrap liberals who went into full meltdown mode over this audacious atrocity!!
LOL! BROKEN! Because of one fact-check on their leaders! Now that is some fancy snowflakin’ right there.
This is a normative claim! It can’t be fact-checked! https://t.co/GbZTFAp1Rw

It cannot be fact-checked!!!
god you people fucking suck https://t.co/mo82bsshrJ

This is so irresponsible @nytimes Just today, due to the shutdown, the FDA announced it can no longer ensure our food is safe. That literally affects all 330 million Americans, some of whom will die from food borne illness. Why do you use so much ink providing cover for the admin https://t.co/L1KwoDijjz

Are they...serious with this...
— Becca Brubaker (@itsmebecca) January 9, 2019
i can’t even tell anymore??

After 2016 I don’t even know why I’m surprised by any of this anymore.

CANNOT believe that the first fact check I saw tonight was on SHUMER! And on a fact he genuinely got right! Food stamps, national parks, native Americans- easily millions, beyond the federal employees.

I think the gave false context. He didn’t say millions weren’t being paid. He said millions were being hurt. They go on to say “while millions are not being directly harmed.” Which is FALSE! They only accounted for those federal workers. Not everyone else.

Ah, so good. Love it when they freak out over the smallest more ridiculous thing. Glad we don’t do that. Ahem. *cough cough*
