In an odd tweet this morning, Trump took to Twitter to offer some advice to Boeing.
The advice was in reference to their Boeing 737 MAX, which they’ve admitted had a software malfunction that led to the crash of Ethiopian Airlines Flight 302.
Here’s the tweet from Trump:
What do I know about branding, maybe nothing (but I did become President!), but if I were Boeing, I would FIX the Boeing 737 MAX, add some additional great features, & REBRAND the plane with a new name.

No product has suffered like this one. But again, what the hell do I know?
Trump seems oddly defensive in his tweet, saying “But again, what the hell do I know?”.
It makes me wonder if he privately offered this same advice to someone at Boeing and they shot it down.
Also, why does he even care what Boeing does with the 737 MAX?
