Bolton says that we had a 10 day explosion of American power over Libya but then Obama forgot about it. He’s off campaigning while Libya is turning into a quagmire:
At best we’re in a stalemate and the rebel position is so precarious that Qaddafi could prevail entirely. That would be a strategic catastrophe for President Obama and the United States.
Bolton says we must do two things if we want to win in Libya, and that is make Qaddafi a direct target and identify pro-American/Western leaders among the rebels and find ways to strengthen them.
