No matter how well you think Indiana’s Attorney General did in this grilling by CNN host Alisyn Camerota, what’s striking to me in this clip is just how unbelievable it is for Camerota that a parent wouldn’t have the choice to abort their child with ‘severe disabilities’:
I must say I find Camerota’s attitude here disgusting. She acts as though an unborn child with a severe disability doesn’t even deserve a chance to live. She makes these fragile little unborn babies sound disposable with her argument that women must be allowed to abort them if they so choose. It seriously rends my heart to hear her make these pro-abortion arguments.
Jesus talks about caring for the frail, the hungry, and the naked in Matthew 25 and explains that we will be judged for how we treat “the least of these”. Tell me who falls into this category more than an unborn baby? And to take it one step further, Jesus says what we do to the “least of these” we do to Him. In other words, when people abort their unborn babies for whatever reason they are killing Jesus.
I am sure it’s very difficult to care for a child with severe disabilities. But that doesn’t give us the right to just snuff that innocent and vulnerable life out. A life is a life is a life! There’s just no other way to look at it in my opinion.
