Issa: We must ensure Fast and Furious never happens again

Darrell Issa hits the administration hard by saying that it was clear early in the program, Fast and Furious, that they had lost track of weapons that had gone over the border and that people who objected to the program continuing were either ignored or punished. The stated purpose of the program was to identify Mexican drug cartels by allowing known criminals to buy these weapons and then to follow them to their destination. Issa says that his committee wants to ensure that a program like this never happens again:
