Apparently Olive Garden is the victim of a false tweet that suggested that Olive Garden is supporting Trump’s 2020 reelection campaign. It all began over the weekend:
The tweet has since been deleted, thus the screenshot. But that didn’t stop it from going viral with a #BoycottOliveGarden.
Olive Garden responded to that tweet with this message: “We don’t know where this information came from, but it is incorrect. Our company does not donate to presidential candidates.”
They further clarified, after someone suggested their parent company Darden was giving to Trump’s reelection campaign, that this isn’t true either:
To clarify, Darden does not donate to federal candidates.

If you look on Olive Garden’s twitter, they’ve been tweeting like a madman trying to stop this nonsense from spreading, responding to tons of tweets with the message above.
All it took was one TWIT to put the phony news out there for the left to get outraged and start boycotting Olive Garden. The didn’t even care that it wasn’t true, but because it had Trump’s name in it, Olive Garden was suddenly dead to them.
Also, it’s been pointed out that the person who started the rumor on Twitter also tweeted this:
The bones of CHILDREN have been found on Epstein's Island.
MY QUESTION?? Has anyone seen any news stories about this?— Dennese Edgerton (@LilleyDennese) August 26, 2019
