Rep. Sean Duffy announces he’s resigning in a month and here’s why…

Rep. Sean Duffy from Wisconsin has announced that on September 23, he’s resigning from Congress:

According to his press release, Duffy’s new child is due in October but will have complications that will need more time and attention that he can currently provide. One of those complications is a heart condition.

Duffy has been serving Wisconsin’s 7th district since 2011. In 2018 he won his re-election by over 21 points.

Hopefully this will remain a safe seat in the House, as we’ll need it and about 20 other new seats just to retake the House.
