CNN’s Brian Stelter is complaining on TWitter that Trump’s “war” on the press has recently escalated:
Trump has made a "war" on the press a central part of his presidency. This week, it feels as if he's turned up the volume another notch…https://t.co/JgpDP64cqU

It’s amazing he can report this with a straight face, as if he’s the victim.
His tweet did not go over well with many on Twitter, who were quick to report that Stelter just had a man on his show who claimed Trump had killed more people than Hitler.
You mean after letting some guy on air say the President has killed more people than Hitler and then pushing the clip out on social media before doing the “I didn’t actually hear what he said” bit? https://t.co/zI0XMylAbG

How is correcting false and libelous reporting or remarking on a guy that literally tried to get another dude fired for referring to him as a “bedbug” (you should see my mentions) a “war?” This is like Michael asking on “Arrested Development” if his family has ever seen a chicken https://t.co/f9FsKiypvA

“THE PRESIDENT’S WAR ON MEDIA!
But first, we talk to this person who says Trump has killed more people that Hitler, Stalin, and Mao combined!”

Trumps “war” on the media
But first listen to an unconfirmed story of him pissing in Russian whores https://t.co/BHvWJCxPpg

Brian Stelter has made a "war" on Trump a central part of his "journalism." This week, he's definitely turned the volume up a notch. #TrumpMassMurderer https://t.co/JVVdgGxBLZ

These are the kindest tweets I could find. There’s plenty more that aren’t so nice.
Honestly, it’s not hard to empathize with Trump’s position here. You’ve got the O’Donnell fiasco within the last couple days as well as the Stelter/Hitler garbage this past weekend. Earlier this month you had Nicole Wallace on MSNBC claim that Trump is talking about exterminating Latinos, and this is just to name a recent few.
