GOP Leader Kevin McCarthy has just announced that he’s signed a resolution to censure Adam Schiff for his lies:
Chairman Adam Schiff has been lying to the American people for years. Now he is so desperate to damage the president that he literally made up a false version of a phone call.
Enough is enough. I have signed a resolution to censure Schiff in the House of Representatives.

Several other Republicans have said they’ve also signed it:
Adam Schiff has no shame, and his recent falsification of the President's phone call was beyond the pale.
I have also signed the resolution to censure Schiff. https://t.co/q1yicrNTLj

I too have signed onto the resolution to censure Chairman Adam Schiff. Presenting false versions of phone calls in a political attempt to damage @realDonaldTrump is unacceptable and beneath the office to which Schiff was elected. https://t.co/Kl6pfdqowx

It’s good to see McCarthy speaking out against Democrats like Schiff. As Mollie Hemingway points out, McCarthy seems a lot better on this that did Paul Ryan on the phony Russia investigation:
Noticeable how differently McCarthy handles Resistance efforts compared to Paul Ryan. Ryan was reticent to push back against orchestrated Russia collusion hoax, although he occasionally did. McCarthy seems to believe that such an approach is substantively and politically unwise. https://t.co/iCZMA9jg5l

Indeed:
House Democrats are only concerned with speed—not facts. Their impeachment efforts have always been a political pursuit to undermine the will of the American people. pic.twitter.com/mwt8wcGnbn
