UFC’s Dana White gave an interesting account of how Trump stepped in and helped the UFC when no one else wouldn’t, calling Trump “the most standup guy since the day I met him”:

Along with his story about how Trump aided the UFC when they first started out, he also explained that when Trump first won his election in 2016 he called White and said he wanted to attend a fight the next night. But then Trump realized that it would be too crazy and would cause the UFC fight a ton of problems, so he called White and said they would do it some time in the future.
White says he’s been to the White House four times and was there last week for dinner when Trump told him he wanted to attend the fight this past weekend in New York. He said it would have been better for Trump to attend the Vegas fight, but this was the one he could attend, so they made it happen.
White’s account of how Trump helped the UFC when it first began was very gracious and he had nothing but wonderful things to say about Trump. This isn’t the kind of thing the media would tell you so I thought it’d be a good thing for you to hear – and also a good change of pace from the Democrat media war on Trump.
