Texas Governor Greg Abbott was posting some inspiring tweets about God and his faith when a despicable troll tried to mock him. He had the perfect response.
Never quit

Incredible. There are so many incredible people who face unbelievable obstacles and come out on top through the sheer force of their will.
Most people would find that inspiring. Not this guy:
Yeah, that says more about you, and it doesn’t say anything good, buddy.
Abbott had a classy response:
That’s what I thought before I ended up in a wheelchair.

I’ve done more AFTER the accident that left me paralyzed than before that accident.
With God all things are possible. https://t.co/dMM0y6R13P
And that’s when the trolls came out:
God put you in a wheelchair Greg

Pretty scummy. And of course he’s wrong. This is a common misunderstanding by those who try to rip down Christianity. Just because something happens doesn’t mean God positively willed it. Sometimes He allows evil for the sake of a greater good. That doesn’t mean He caused the evil.
But they don’t care about truth. They just want to mock the faith of others.
God didn’t cause the accident that left me paralyzed, but He did help me persevere over that enormous challenge.

I’m a testament that the glory of God is revealed by a young man’s back being broken in half and still rising up to be Governor of Texas.
With God all is possible. https://t.co/HIstfddxuk
Amen. If anything, Abbott and the incredible good he’s done for Texas are a perfect example of how God can bring great blessings out of disaster.
