GOP challenger to Ilhan Omar BANNED permanently from Twitter over ‘hanging’ tweet

Twitter has permanently banned the Republican challenger to Ilhan Omar over an innocent tweet about her possibly being hanged after being found guilty of treason.

Here’s the tweet from her now deleted account:

And then also this, but I couldn’t find a screenshot of that:

Ms. Stella’s campaign account subsequently tweeted the link to an article that aggregated her remark, accompanied by a crude depiction of a stick figure hanging from gallows.

Here’s how she responded to being banned:

“My suspension for advocating for the enforcement of federal code proves Twitter will always side with and fight to protect terrorists, traitors, pedophiles and rapists,” Ms. Stella told The Times when reached for comment.

Ahhhhhh yeah. Look, not smart. This is based on some claims made against Ilhan Omar in a lawsuit in Florida that only the nuttier kinds of websites are posting because there’s just not a lot of evidence to back it up.

Stella apparently was also convicted of shoplifting, and she’s all into the Q-anon conspiracies. All in all, not the best candidate. But we hate Ilhan Omar soooo much that we’ll back ANYONE who is going to CRUSH her in an election, right? Riiiiiight.

Here’s a video of an interview with Daniella Stella.

It’s from the Bulwark, so I’m sure they edited out all the times she sounded brilliant, and just posted the times she sounded less than brilliant.

Is this another example of the bias from Twitter? I’m not so sure. I can’t think of a democratic candidate for Congress that made statements like this and were left alone by Twitter. Yes, there’s nobodies who spout off all the time, but those are kinda meaningless. But, if I’m wrong about that, feel free to prove me wrong that there was a democratic candidate for Congress who said their opponent should be hanged if found guilty of treason. Then I will be INCREDIBLY OUTRAGED.
