The same PBS Newshour reporter, Yamiche Alcindor, who tried to get Trump to condemn a hypothetical White House official for saying “kung-flu” does the same thing to Kellyanne Conway:

Why won’t they just name the White House official who said it? How hard is it to do that? Are they trying to protect someone?
Kellyanne Conway does concede that in her opinion it’s not an appropriate thing to say, pointing out that she married an Asian-American and that her own children are part Asian. But she continues to put the onus back on them, demanding that they name the person who said it. Yet none of them know or just won’t say.
You get the feeling that they suspect this is just a false accusation by CBS News reporter Weijia Jiang:
This morning a White House official referred to #Coronavirus as the “Kung-Flu” to my face. Makes me wonder what they’re calling it behind my back.

I’m starting to wonder myself if it was said at all. Even if it was, big deal. It came from China. They hid it and tried to silence their own doctors who wanted to warn the world. It started in China and will forever be known as the Chinese coronavirus. The end.
