Trump was asked today at the briefing if he’d been able to learn anymore on the status of Kim Jong Un:

Trump wouldn’t get into specifics, but said “I think the report was incorrect – let me just put it that way. I think the report was done by a network that was incorrect. I hear they were using old documents…but that’s what I hear. I hear the report was an incorrect report. I hope it was an incorrect a report.”
Trump was immediately asked when the last time he’d heard from Kim Jong Un, and he responded “I don’t want to say.”
He was then asked by a different reporter if he’d made contact with the North Koreans and Trump responded “I don’t want to say. I won’t say that.”
He then added that he has a good relationship with Kim Jong Un and that he thinks “it was a fake report done by CNN.”
