Ben Shapiro says Trump was right, media WRONG about “Ask China” moment yesterday

Ben Shapiro find the media reaction to Trump’s “ask China” moment yesterday as disingenuous as most of us do, noting that Trump was right to tell CBS News reporter Weijia Jiang to “ask China”:

“Amazing to watch the same media who spent a month ripping Trump as racist for calling covid-19 the “Chinese virus” now explaining that Trump’s “ask China” response was unexpected and racism directed against the reporter. Guys, he thinks China is responsible. And he is right.

“By the way, the question was absolutely abysmal. This is not a question, it is an attempt to make the nightly news: “Why is this a global competition to you if every day Americans are still losing their lives and we’re still seeing more cases every day?””

“And “ask China” isn’t a bad response to this question. China has treated this entire situation as a global competition, and they are at fault for the global spread of a highly infectious and deadly disease.”

I like his point about how China has treated this like a global competition. From what we know they not only covered up the virus and tried to silence doctors who wanted to warn people, but they lied about their own mortality numbers while some people were being incinerated alive as they tried to make the world believe they had gotten it under control in Wuhan. Yet this despicable media wants to make Trump out to be the bad guy when he’s done nothing but try and fight this virus and save lives. Garbage media through and through.
