Sen Ted Cruz calls the “time of death” for New York Times…

Yesterday we told you that the New York Times had purged their Opinion Editor and his deputy, all because they allowed Tom Cotton’s op-ed, a sitting US Senator, that called for sending in the troops to restore order in cities where riots and lawlessness abounded. Today, in the wee hours of the morning, Ted Cruz responded to the news by calling the ‘time of death’ for the paper that was founded in 1851, saying:

"The NYT literally fired their editorial page editor because he dared publish an op-ed that Leftists disagreed with. The totalitarian Left will brook no dissent. To hell with Free Speech—we are Pravda. New York Times: founded as an actual newspaper 9/18/1851. Died: 6/7/2020."

Obviously the New York Times has been very biased in favor of Democrats and the Left for a long time. But until now, the op-ed desk had at least allowed other opinions to be printed. Now the opinion section is going to be as biased as the rest of the newspaper, only allowing opinions they agree with to be printed.

Cruz is right. Pravda.
