Indianapolis City-County Council declares “racism” a public health crisis

The Indianapolis city-council has just declared that ‘racism’ is a public health crisis:

THE INDY CHANNEL – The Indianapolis City-County Council approved Monday night a special resolution declaring racism a public health crisis in the city.

“This Council commits to frank and open discussions of race and the impact of the decisions we make upon racial inequities in our community, that these discussions will be integrated into our daily work together, and that we will address issues of race and racial disparities in a full and forthright manner,” the resolution states.

The United States Office of Disease Prevention recognized that racial discrimination negatively impacts health outcomes, leading to the resolution Monday night.

The founding Dean of the Richard M. Fairbanks School of Public Health spoke at the meeting, saying he is “so proud to stand” with council.

It passed unanimously. Indianapolis Mayor Joe Hogsett has already announced his support for the resolution.

Move over coronavirus. Now we have a much better bigger public health crisis called ‘racism’! (That was a sizzlean reference for all you old timers).

So I guess the coronavirus pandemic doesn’t really matter any more because people must take to the streets, standing shoulder to shoulder, breathing and coughing on each other, to protest all the systemic racial discrimination the Indianapolis city-council believes exists! Who cares if people die! They must use racism to fundamentally change the system! After all, it’s what their founding father Barack Obama always preached about.

If these leaders really wanted to do something beneficial, how about putting God back in the schools and in the lives of our children. How about teaching against the very immoral and destructive practice of promiscuity and promoting the family unit, which is fundamentally held together by a Godly marriage.

Yeah I know, I’m the biggest fuddy duddy on the planet. But so is God, and I am happy to count myself on His side.
