MSNBC Contributor compares First Lady of the United States to Nazi filmmaker Leni Riefenstahl

There are no lows to low. That’s especially true on CNN lately, but historically has been more true of MSNBC. And today was an MSNBC day.

Contributor Jill Wine-Banks, emphasis on WINE, tweeted at almost 4 in the morning comparing the First Lady of the United States Melania Trump to notorious Nazi sympathizer and filmmaker Leni Riefenstahl.

Why? Why not? The news has spent all day seriously believing the preposterous and implausible Atlantic story, why not go all the way? There won’t be any consequences, after all. It’s what they all think anyway. If you can call what libs and the media do “thinking” anyway.

This was definitely my favorite response:

It’s sick out there. Our culture is sick. To the core.
