Morning Joe Scarborough smugly condemned ‘other networks’ for comparing the Capitol riot to the BLM riots that happened last summer:
MSNBC's Joe Scarborough says that local businesses being vandalized in antifa/BLM riots over the summer is not equatable to the Capitol building:
"No, jackass… I'm not going to confuse a taco stand with the United States Capitol." pic.twitter.com/Za4X1uGuL9

The BLM riots, which burned down and destroyed businesses and other property. The Capitol riot, which included the theft of property and a few broken windows, but for the most part left the Capitol almost completely in tact.
You know, in some ways I agree with smug Joe. The rioting in the Capitol was on a different level than rioting elsewhere. But given the horrible extent of the damage and the horrible nature of the riots and looting, the comparison is quite valid and he’s just being an arrogant ass about it.
In some ways the BLM riots were way worse because of all the damage they did. What we saw was obscene and some stores in those cities may never reopen again because of it. These are people’s livelihoods we are talking about, but smug Joe sits too high in his ivory tower to understand that.
Talking about smug, here’s another MSNBC host taking a pot shot at Texas in their desperate time of need:
Not sure whether he was trying to be jokey or taking a pot shot against Texans as backwards, but Chuck Todd said this on the deadly cold and power outages: "The only upside here is I assume the cold weather motivates people to wear a mask, b/c it's one extra layer on your face." pic.twitter.com/Uyz2b4nGrn

Elitist a-holes. Every one of them.
