The mother of a student in Colorado spoke with her local school board and made clear to them that Critical Race Theory is a toxic curriculum and that it needs to end now:
This mother didn’t just regurgitate talking points others have made about Critical Race Theory, she’s spent time watching the videos and studying it and explains to the board why it’s bad for students.
Namely, she points out that the curriculum separates students into different groups based on race, gender identities, etc., and that it also teaches that some groups are the oppressed and some are oppressors.
She even uses MLK Jr’s famous comment that people should be judged by the content of their character instead of the color of their skin, arguing that he had a dream, but this curriculum is a nightmare that needs to end now.
